Sailing into the Tivoli in May, Anything Goes is the most De-Lovely musical. Set onboard the SS American, the romantic and madcap story takes place during the cruise ship’s voyage from New York to London. Stowaway Billy Crocker is in love with wealthy heiress Hope Harcourt, who is engaged to the nobleman Lord Evelyn Oakleigh. Billy’s old friend, renowned jazz club singer Reno Sweeney, is also onboard as is ‘Moonface’ Martin (Public Enemy Number 13), who aids Billy in his pursuit to marry Hope, but the journey is not plain sailing!
A classic musical with a spectacular score by Cole Porter, Anything Goes will have you tapping along to ‘Blow, Gabriel, Blow’, ‘I Get a Kick Out of You’ and, of course, the title tune!
