Aberdeen Academy of Performing Arts Ballet students, in partnership with Professional dancers Matisse Love and Aaron Smyth all the way from the USA, present this magical ballet and bring to life everyones favourite Christmas story!
Join us in Act One as we gather at a festive Christmas Eve Party hosted by Uncle Drosselmeyer. Witness the battle between the Mouse Queen and the Nutcracker Prince and venture through the snow to the Land of Sweets. Act Two is in the Land of Sweets where international dances enchant, the Waltz of the Flowers dazzle and the Sugar Plum Fairy reigns supreme. Lets not forget the pas de deux between Clara and the Nutcracker.
A timeless festive treat that delights both audiences young and old. With each act running at around 45 mins it is perfectly suited to our younger audiences.
